Bored Ape Wear was founded by early members of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC). Inspired by the ingenious entrepreneurial spirit of BAYC, our purpose is to put a spotlight on one of the most significant components of the brand - the commercial rights that come with Bored Ape Yacht Club membership. 

We view the historical significance of the Bored Ape Yacht Club as the promotion of decentralized design and decentralized entrepreneurship. Each member of the BAYC has the rights to produce derivatives of his/her Bored Ape, spawning many artistic Bored Ape offspring (decentralized design). Each BAYC member also has the rights to merchandise and commercialize his/her Bored Ape (decentralized entrepreneurship). 

 

Through our experience in streetwear culture and expertise in apparel production, Bored Ape Wear  promotes and furthers these values of decentralized design and entrepreneurship, with participation by the Bored Ape Yacht Club community.

Featuring active, original Bored Apes along with derivatives, all of our collections are in partnership with BAYC members who own a Bored Ape at the time of their product drops. We take care of all the production and fulfillment of the merchandise, with each Bored Ape partner receiving 50% of the resulting profit from his/her collection.
